To determine how much memory a user has on their computer, they must access the hard drive information. This is fairly simple for users with Windows operating systems.
Windows users can press Control E to bring up the list of hard drives on the system. Each drive will have a bar underneath it stating how much memory has been used. Right-clicking on a specific drive and going to properties gives computer owners more information about the space available. The Properties section also allows users to deleted stored files and images to free up disk space to increase the amount of memory.
