Wal-Mart does not sell Kindle Fires, as of April, 2015. It announced its decision to phase out Amazon's Kindle e-readers and Fire tablets within six months in September 2012. Ever since, it has maintained its decision not to sell Kindle Fires up to now.
Although Wal-Mart, which is the world's biggest retailer, does not sell Kindle Fires, but it does sell tablets of other brands such as Apple, RCA, Acer, Samsung, Visual Land and Nextbook, as of February 2015.
Amazon's Kindle Fire is inexpensive considering its various functions. Due to its price, functions and ease of use, it was PC magazine's Editors' Choice for small tablets.
