To see Valspar paint colors on a photo of your own home, click Upload From My Computer. A pop-up box asks you to log in. If you don't already have a Valspar account, click Create profile in the box. Once logged in, you can upload your photo and try paint colors on it.

To use stock images provided by Valspar, click either Choose From Interiors or Choose From Exteriors to see the type of images available. Use the check boxes to the left of the images to narrow the search by a specific room or style. Click the image you want to use for the virtual painting tool.

The default paint colors shown in the stock image appear on the left side of the screen, with a color swatch, color name and color number. When you click Change Color, you see several squares with paint family colors. After clicking a large square, hover over individual colors to see a larger color swap and the paint name. When you click Take to Painter, the selected color automatically appears in the stock photo.

The Valspar Paint Virtual Painter tool allows you to save information. Click Save next to a paint color you like to remember it for later. Click Save To My Projects above the image to save the picture with the selected colors. Use the Undo and Redo buttons above the photo to change colors you apply to the image.
