Manuals are available for download at Kyocera’s official website under the Support section. To locate the manual for a cellphone, customers first select their service providers from the drop-down menu and then their phone models from the second drop-down menu. In addition to English-language product manuals, the site also offers specification sheets, frequently asked questions, manufacturer’s warranty information, end-user license agreements and other guides in multiple languages, including Spanish, as of 2016.
For additional support, the company offers multiple options on the Support page, including live in-browser chat, online contact forms and a support email address. Live chat is available only on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time and is only accessible from a desktop browser.
If a Kyocera cellphone has a problem that the customer cannot solve through the support documentation and other resources, the customer can send the phone to a Kyocera Repair Center for repair or replacement. If the phone is under warranty, Kyocera covers all costs; otherwise, Kyocera issues an estimate of the repair costs to the customer. The customer can then either elect to issue a payment through PayPal to authorize the repair or pay the shipping and handling costs for Kyocera to return the phone as-is.
