To use the TextNow application on a computer, navigate to TextNow.com and download it, or download the application for free directly from the Apple application store on an Apple computer. Alternatively, download the application for free from the Microsoft application store on a Windows 8 or Windows 10 computer. On a Windows 7 computer, install an Android emulator to download and use the TextNow Android application from the Google Play Store.
Use the TextNow website to enable the application's calling features in a browser. After logging in, navigate to settings and click the Advanced tab. Next, click the Calling ALPHA link to enable TextNow calling features in the browser. To use a downloaded application on a computer, launch it and sign in with valid credentials to use it.
To use TextNow on a Windows 7 computer, download an emulator for Windows that can run an Android system. The emulator enables the download, installation and use of Android applications on Windows. After the installation of the emulator, sign up or log in with a Google Play Store account. Next, start the Google Play Store application and search for TextNow to download and install it.
