Full Answer

Rather than using touch-screen technology, the Boogie Board Sync 9.7-Inch LCD eWriter comes with an electronic writing stylus that digitizes and saves handwriting and drawings on the tablet as PDF files using the device's onboard SD storage. To use the tablet, power on the eWriter, then write with the stylus on the pressure-sensitive surface. To save, push the Save button. The Erase button clears the screen. Use the Virtual White Board for taking and displaying shared notes at meetings.

Connecting the eWriter to a computer via Bluetooth allows you to save copies of notes to share, while the free Sync Mobile app connects the writer to a smart device. (The eWriter itself isn’t Internet enabled.) Another of the manufacturer’s free programs, Virtual Desktop Companion, allows the control of a computer’s mouse cursor from the eWriter to facilitate the process of saving and moving files. The Boogie Board Sync 9.7-Inch LCD eWriter is also compatible with Evernotes, Dropbox, OneNote and Adobe Illustrator.
