Use birthday clip art images by downloading them to your computer from sites such as All-Free-Download.com, WebWeaver.com, Birthday-Clip-Art.com and GraphicsFactory.com or searching for them in certain versions of Microsoft Word. Once you have the image, add it by dragging it into the document or using the built-in image insertion tools.
It is possible to search for clip art using the Clip Art Search feature in Microsoft Word, as of 2015. This option is only available while you are editing a Word document and searches the Microsoft clip art gallery for images and allows you to add them immediately into the project. To access this tool, click on the Insert Images button from the tool bar in Microsoft Word 2013, or by clicking on the Insert option of the File menu and choosing Images in older versions. Select the entry for Office.com Clip Art in Word 2013, or Clip Art in the older versions. Select the image, and choose Insert to add it to the page.
Many clip art sites features various searching options that allow you to locate images according to its content, with additional options for downloading the image to your computer. You can choose the image from your computer using the Insert function, or simply open it in a file preview and drag it into the document. In both cases, you have options to control the side and orientation of the image as well as its position within the document.
