Click on Reset Firefox, and click on it again once the confirmation window appears. After the resetting process completes, Firefox should close automatically.
In Google Chrome, access the main menu, click Settings, click on the Show Advanced Settings link, and click on the Reset Browser Settings button. If the problem with SafeSearch persists, download AdwCleaner from BleepingComputer.com, and install it. Start the program, give it permission to modify files if prompted and click on the Scan button. Once the scanning process is complete, check the boxes next to threats related to SafeSearch, and click on the Clean button. Save any open files and documents when prompted, and click OK to restart your computer.
