To uninstall an Android or Windows phone app, navigate to the application list and select an app to uninstall it. To uninstall an iPhone or iPad app, press and hold the icon of the app to be uninstalled for a few seconds. Tap the cross beside the app to complete the uninstallation.
On an Android device, navigate to the application manager or apps section under the phone settings and touch the app to open and uninstall it. Pre-installed phone applications cannot be uninstalled and only provide the option to uninstall updates.
Flick the start screen to the right on a Windows phone to access the app list. Tap and hold an app to bring up the uninstall prompt, and confirm the uninstallation when prompted. The list of games on a Windows phone is listed under the games collection section. Tap and hold a game, and then confirm to uninstall.
iPhone applications can be uninstalled directly from the home screen of the device. Tap and hold the app icon for a few seconds until it begins to wiggle. Tap the cross that appears beside the app, and confirm when prompted to delete the app. To prevent the app from resyncing to the device, deselect the application from the device's sync applications list.
