As of 2015, Foscam sells several dozen types of security cameras, including outdoor cameras with night vision, pan and tilt cameras with audio, and dome cameras with varifocal lenses. Many cameras feature wireless IP connections to transmit data and images to a remote location, and customers connect these cameras to a smartphone or desktop as a way to view the videos produced by cameras.
One type of Foscam camera includes the FI9900P model, a plug-and-play IP camera with night vision up to 65 feet away from the camera. This camera comes with 30 infrared LED lights to produce the infrared images. Customers scan the label on the camera with a smartphone to sync the devices together. The camera also comes with remote storage options for an extra fee.
A second kind of Foscam security camera is the FI8910W pan-and-tilt model with two-way audio transmission. This camera has motion detection capabilities and a filter that prevents discolored or washed-out images. This model gives customers an email alert when it detects motion within its viewing range, and this camera system has compatibility with iPhones, Android, BlackBerry and Wi-Fi.
The Foscam FI9828W model features a wireless dome construction ideal for outdoor surveillance of courtyards, supermarkets and schools. The 3x zoom lens gives viewers a more detailed view, while the Web interface syncs with wireless networks so customers can view images from any remote location.
