Software that allows users to create magazine covers is Adobe's InDesign. InDesign is part of the Adobe Creative Suite, which also includes Illustrator and Photoshop, amongst others.
InDesign is one of the programs that professionals use to create magazines and books. To design a magazine cover, start by opening up a new document with bleed. Next, the user creates a frame and then imports a cover photo. Next, a person chooses from the fitting menu and clicks Fill Frame Proportionally, so that the picture appears in the correct aspect ratio. Using the text frame tool the user can add all important textual information on the image to complete the cover.
