GetEnough.ca provides recipes that aim to boost the daily consumption of milk and its alternatives. About two-thirds of Canadians consume less than the recommended daily amounts of milk products, according to the site. The site, however, is of the view that using creative recipes that utilize more milk products can eliminate the under-consumption. To make things easier for readers, GetEnough.ca includes videos on how to prepare the dish for some of the recipes.
The GetEnough.ca site puts its recipes under Videos, Courses and Meals tabs. Under the Videos tab are all the recipes that have an embedded video demonstration. The Courses tab shows classification of recipes according to meal courses, including Beverages & Snacks, Appetizers, Side Dishes and Main Dishes. The Meals tab shows classification of recipes as Brunch & Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Beverages.
GetEnough.ca writes ingredients that are milk products within each recipe in bold for easy identification. The website always indicates how much milk product servings each recipe provides per person. In addition, each recipe includes a comprehensive nutritional information list showing the quantities of energy, protein, carbohydrates and fat in each serving. The list also shows the five most-abundant nutrients and their daily value percentages per serving.
