To transfer music files to your smartphone using a USB data cable, plug the cable into your phone and into a USB port on the computer or other device storing music files. Wait for its icon to show up on the computer’s desktop. Double-click the icon to open your phone’s storage and choose a destination for your files, then copy the music files to your phone.
To transfer music files using Bluetooth, turn your phone’s Bluetooth on. Next, turn on Bluetooth at the source of the music files. If your phone needs to be paired to the source, do it. If not, choose the files you want to copy from the source, choose the Share option and select Bluetooth. As the transfer begins, your phone’s software will ask you if you want to accept the transfer. Choose Yes. When the transfer is complete, turn off Bluetooth on both the source and your phone.
For phones with micro SD drives, you can buy a micro SD card reader that connects storage devices using USB. Insert a micro SD card into the reader, plug the reader into a USB port on the source and copy the music files to the SD card. When you insert the SD card in your phone, copy the music files to the phone.Learn more about Mobile
