The Verizon Cloud allows users to easily transfer contacts between devices. This feature also synchronizes media and documents between devices. An Internet connection is required to access the Verizon Cloud.
To activate the Verizon Cloud, navigate to the My Verizon application on your phone. In the Products & Applications section, you'll find a section labelled Verizon Cloud. Here, users can purchased different amounts of memory on the Verizon Cloud. After choosing a plan, customers must choose which phone number they want the service applied. Access to the Verizon Cloud incurs a small charge that is integrated into the customer's existing monthly bill.
After signing up for the Verizon Cloud, users can download the Verizon Cloud app on any of their devices. The App can be found for free in both in Google Play Store on Android devices and the App Store on iOS devices. It is also available through Blackberry World. Open the app, and sign in to sync contacts between devices.
Unfortunately, the Verizon Cloud method only applies to smartphones and tablets. However, customers with older phones can still transfer contacts. To do so, install the Backup Assistant application in the Media Center section. This is found in the Tools on the Go section of the Get It Now menu. Upload your contacts with this application, then download the app on any other Verizon phone to synchronize your contacts.
