Websites for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, Starbucks, CenturyLink and CollegeBoard offer online avenues for individuals to retrieve their usernames. Methods vary from providing secondary email addresses for retrievals, using primary email addresses and answering pre-determined challenge questions.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid website provides two options for retrieving forgotten usernames; the first by providing a registered email address with the FSA ID, after which the FAFSA website sends a secure code via email. The second option is by answering the pre-determined challenge questions along with a Social Security number, last name and date of birth. Users need to answer three out of the five previously chosen challenge questions.
For Starbucks, users can enter the email addresses they used to register for the Starbucks website, after which the company sends the requested usernames to those email addresses. CollegeBoard follows the same procedure.
CenturyLink customers with email addresses can use these to obtain usernames. For customers who no longer have the email addresses they used to create their accounts, CenturyLink has a chat feature they can utilize to talk to live company representatives. Customers can make their username experience easier by using their email addresses as their usernames.
