Existing customers can refer new customers or existing customers who are not participants in the program but subscribe to at least one of the qualifying services. Customers who participate in the program cannot earn additional rewards if referred to additional services by friends.

To participate in the program, individuals must subscribe to at least one qualifying service, register for the referral program within a week of service activation and refer friends and networks to qualifying services. The referee must purchase a qualifying service for both parties to earn rewards. Referees can earn the maximum number of rewards by purchasing all qualifying services within 30 days of the first purchase. All customers, except employees and partners of AT&T, can register for the referral program.
