The YouTube application is not officially available for Kindle devices, but users can side-load or download it from third-party sources and install it. Users must activate the option for allowing installation of applications from unknown sources in order to install a downloaded or side-loaded YouTube application file.
Download a file browser such as ES File Explorer for your Kindle device from the App Store and browse to the location where the YouTube .APK file was downloaded to. Select the file and select OK for any prompts. The file installs automatically at this point and is ready for use afterward. Known problems with the YouTube application on Kindle devices include inability to log in to a YouTube account or subscribe to channels and some videos may not be available or play properly.
