As of 2015, a Sprint customer can upgrade his phone on the company's official website. A Sprint client must have a current username and password to sign into his online account to complete the upgrade.
Sprint requires an account in good standing without any past-due balances to upgrade any phones, as of 2015. Also, if the phone is currently in a contract, the consumers may have to wait until his contract expires or pay an early upgrade fee to proceed. The user can select the type of phone he wishes to upgrade while in the account and set up delivery the device to his home.
