The waterproof Casio g'zOne Commando 4G LTE runs on the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, which includes Google apps such as Gmail and Maps, along with Play Books, Magazines, Movies and TV, Music and YouTube. As well as being waterproof, the phone is also dustproof, shock resistant and can withstand high climates. It has two cameras, both of which have digital zoom; one is an 8-megapixel and the other is a 1.3-megapixel.
Each of the cameras also has an exposure meter, timer, geotagging capabilities, image stabilization, touch shutter and grid lines. They both also have six white balances, four color effects and two quality options. In video recording mode, there are options with the 8-megapixel camera to record slow motion and silly faces.
The phone is relatively heavy at 6.08 ounces, owing largely to its protective exterior made with tough rubber. It is also 5.1 inches by 2.7 inches, with a thickness of half an inch. The WVGA display measures 4 inches with a resolution of 400 by 800 pixels. For added protection, it is shielded with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. One of the notable features of the display is its ease of viewing in sunlight, whether displaying text, icons or videos.
