The SoundLogic XT is a line of portable batteries that allows users to recharge various mobile devices without plugging into a traditional electrical outlet. The battery plugs into any USB port via an accompanying cable to build a charge, then transfers that charge to connected devices to refill its battery.
SoundLogic's XT line of portable batteries allows users to charge devices such as iPods, iPhones, iPads and various Android devices from any location, assuming that the XT has the proper charge. To charge a device, connect its power cable as one normally would. However, instead of plugging the USB end of the cable into a wall charger or computer, plug it into the available USB port on the SoundLogic XT. The XT charger acts as a temporary power source for the mobile device, which is able to use the electrical power stored within the charger to refill the battery. After depleting the XT charger's power, the owner needs to plug the XT into a USB port to recharge it.
As of 2015, the various products in the XT line have generally fair to poor reviews. Many of the reviews on Amazon.com mention frequent charging failures after only a few uses, with some customers purchasing multiple units because each one fails to recharge after its initial use.
