The Skyrocket phone is a Samsung Galaxy S II variant for the AT&T network. It's an Android-powered smartphone with a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor and an 8-megapixel camera.
Launched in October 2011, the Skyrocket phone differs itself from other Galaxy S II variants by offering a larger display and 4G LTE connectivity. It also features built-in NFC, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera and 1 GB of RAM. The Skyrocket ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread but can be upgraded to 4.1 Jelly Bean. Samsung's TouchWiz interface runs on top of the operating system to provide additional software features and a unique user experience.
