Sign an electronic signature in Adobe Acrobat using the Place Signature option. This feature allows users to create a signature using the mouse, digital tablet, webcam or keyboard.
- Open the Sign pane
If Adobe detects a signature field upon opening a document, it automatically prompts the user to sign. Click Open Sign Pane in the upper right corner of the window to begin.
- Select an option
Choose your preferred option for adding a signature. You can write your signature using your mouse, type it with the keyboard, or use a webcam to read the signature from a separate sheet of paper.
- Place the signature
Click the Place Signature option in the Sign pane. This places the signature in the designated place on the document.
