To share free music on YouTube, convert the audio files to a video format by using Windows Live Movie Maker, and upload the converted files to a YouTube account. YouTube requires its users to own the copyright of the uploaded content, meaning that you can only share your own songs.
To download the Windows Live Movie Maker, navigate to Microsoft.com, click on Software & Apps, hover over Windows, and click on the All Windows link. Click on the Downloads button, click on the Get Windows Movie Maker link in the Media section, and click on Download Now. After installing it, start Windows Movie Maker, click on Add Videos and Photos option, and select an image file for your video. Click on Add Music, and select the song you wish to upload. Adjust the duration so that the image matches the duration of the song, and then click on Recommended for This Project. Choose a name for the file, and click Save.
Navigate to YouTube.com, sign in with your YouTube or Google Plus account, and click on the Upload button. Choose the desired privacy setting, and select the video file your created earlier. While YouTube is processing the uploaded file, edit the basic information if necessary, and notify your subscribers. When the upload process completes, click on the Publish button to share your music through your YouTube channel.
