To set up a Jabra Bluetooth headset, power the headset on, hold down the Answer button until the headset's indicator lights begin flashing, enable the Bluetooth feature on the device you want to pair it with, select the name associated with the headset from the list of detected Bluetooth devices, and type the passcode if prompted. Upon successfully entering the passcode, the headset pairs with the other device.
The name of the headset that is displayed in the list of detected items and its passcode can be found in the documentation that came with the device. If you are not prompted for a passcode, the devices pairs automatically. If you have trouble finding the default passcode in the documentation of the device, try "0000" as the passcode. "0000" is a common default passcode for bluetooth devices.
To turn on the headset's pairing mode, the Answer button must be pressed for roughly five seconds. Once the pairing is complete, the Bluetooth headset works like any other non-wireless headset.
Jabra headsets can connect with computers, tablets and phones. To get smooth playback, it is important to stay within range of the headset's Bluetooth coverage area. The supported range of the device can be found in the documentation.
