Services that Verizon offers include fiber optics service Internet and TV and the digital voice phone service. It also provides home phone services, DirecTV and access to high-speed DSL Internet. Other services include cloud storage, Internet security utilities and device protection plans.
Verizon offers multiple FiOS Internet plans with speeds that range from 25 to 500 megabits per second, while its prices range between $44.99 and $274.99 per month, as of 2015. The slowest plan allows consumers to stream two videos in high definition at the same time and provides a smooth experience for up to three devices, while the fastest plan is intended for work environments, video conferencing and uploading large files.
The FiOS TV service allows consumers to select one of the existing TV plans, which include at least 235 channels, or create a custom TV channel lineup. Through FiOS TV, consumers can also subscribe to movie, sports and specialty premium channels, including HBO, Showtime or NBA League Pass.
The digital voice phone service includes multiple domestic and international calling plans. The former are only available when bundled with the FiOS Internet or FiOS TV service, while the latter provide discounts of up to $4.99 per month if the consumer opts to couple them with the digital voice unlimited plan. The digital voice service also includes features such as blocking anonymous callers, accessing voice mail via email or managing the phone via the computer or an iOS device.
