Verizon provides Internet, TV and the digital voice services as part of Verizon FiOS, as of 2015. The services are bundled in a single package that doesn’t require an annual contract, although users can sign a 2-year agreement to receive a $300 Visa prepaid card in addition to services.
FiOS Internet provides various speeds, starting with 25 megabits per second intended for small households and 500 megabits per second intended for professional offices and server maintenance. FiOS TV offers more than 80,000 files that are available on demand and allows users to watch the content on their mobile devices via the FiOS Mobile app. FiOS Digital Voice provides users with various privacy functions, including caller ID and number blocking, in addition to control options for managing their phones via computers or mobile devices.
Verizon Fios offers small business customers an Internet service where businesses can choose from different megabits-per-second packages, depending on the companies' sizes and Internet needs.
Customers can shop for services directly on the official Verizon website, where there are a number of different packages available. Customers can choose a TV, Internet and phone package that offers two channel packs in which customers can purchase additional channels and are guaranteed the same monthly price for two years. If a customer is unsure as to whether Verizon Fios is offered in his area, he can choose the Check Availability option and enter his ZIP code. Fios offers packages with either no contract commitment or a two-year contract commitment.
Verizon Fios also has a mobile application that allows customers to access their home systems when using a compatible tablet or smart phone. Customers can watch movies with Fios On Demand, manage uploaded photos and change their DVR schedules. The mobile application also allows customers to stream and watch popular channels from their tablets.
