The Triple Play Gold bundle by Charter Spectrum and the Fios Triple Play bundle by Verizon are two payment plans that offer cable TV, Internet connection and telephone deals together. As of January 2016, the plans cost about $69 and $79 per month, respectively.
With over 200 channels in HD resolution, the Trip Play Gold package includes channels such as HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and Starz. The bundle also grants access to HBO GO, Showtime Anytime and Starz Play, offers over 10,000 movies on demand and provides network TV applications. The Internet offer includes a 60-megabits per second connection, a free modem, online protection by Charter Security Suite and access to all online content by EPIX. The bundle also provides unlimited local and long distance calls within the United States and Canada, promises no additional fees and can block calls from unwanted numbers.
Offering a free HD set-top box to all customers, the Fios Triple Play bundle by Verizon grants access to channels such as HBO, Showtime, Cinemax and EPIX for 12 months. The Internet connection can download and upload at speeds up to 50 Mbps. The bundle also offers nationwide unlimited calls and various phone services such as voice mail, caller ID and call waiting. Verizon also gives customers a Visa prepaid card that's worth $400.
