HawkNet of Hillsborough Community College provides students, faculty and staff with online resources including WebAdvisor, HawekMail365, SmarThinking Online Tutoring, a directory and the HCC Live Help Desk. The WebAdvisor service is a student portal that allows students at the college to register for classes and access their academic records, including their grades. This service is available from 7 a.m. to midnight on Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to midnight on Sunday as of 2015.
The HawkMail365 service lets students at Hillsborough Community College send emails and organize their calendars. In addition, students can send instant messages to their contacts if they are online and available to chat. The SmarThinking Online Tutoring service provides learning tools and online tutoring to students 24 hours a day, seven days a week; however, students have limited amounts of time they can use this service.
The HawkNet Directory service allows visitors to search for contact information of employees of the college. Visitors can search the directory by name, job title, location of campus and employee type, which includes faculty, staff and administrator. The HCC Live Help Desk offers online technical support to users of HawkNet. They can contact support by telephone or live chat. Alternatively, they can submit trouble tickets to the support staff using the online ticketing system.
