To send a free get well card by email, select a website to send the card from, type the recipient's email, and hit Send. Some limited processing information can also be required. Someecards, American Greetings, and 123 Greetings all have free get well e-card available. All sites allow users to send an e-card to an email address free of charge, although American Greetings only gives a seven-day free trial.
To send a get well card from Someecards, choose a card, then type in information, and send it. The website requests the sender's name, sender's email, delivery date and recipient's email. A box for optional messages also appears, as well as a CAPTCHA that the sender must fill out.
American Greetings' cards are typically heartfelt. One shows a dog in the snow, with a text-to-speech feature. Senders can either type a greeting or record it by phone. After selecting the voice, the card can be sent to anyone with a valid email address.
Many animated get well cards are also available at 123 Greetings. A reclining cat with blinking eyes says, "Take good care of yourself... Get back on your paws soon!" Senders can choose between different types of virtual animals, floral arrangements or animations.
