As of December 2015, Amazon.com features more than 27 million products on its website, searchable by model number. Type a model number in the search box near the top of the main page, and then click the search icon to display a list of products including the search term.

If you know the name of the company or brand, click the Product Sourcing tab near the top of the main page on ThomasNet.com, and then select Company Name or Brand Name on the Find By drop-down menu. Type the name in the Search For box, and then click the search icon to display a list of companies or brands including the search term. Click a company or brand name in the list to display details about the company or brand. Typically, the company phone number displays near the top-left of the page, and a link to the company website displays on the right side of the page. Perform a search for the model number on the company's website, or call the company at the phone number listed.

If you know the part number, click the Product Sourcing tab near the top of the main page, select Part Number/Name on the Find By drop-down menu, type the part number in the Search By box, and then click the Source Products button to display a list of companies that make or sell products containing the search term. Use the search tools on the left side of the page to focus your search.
