To take screen shots on a Galaxy S3, enable the Palm Swipe To Capture option from the Settings of the phone. It's a built-in option in the handset that lets users capture a screen shot by swiping their palm from left to right or the other way around on the screen at any time.
- Go to Settings
Access the Settings of the handset. Swipe down the Notifications tray, and tap on the Settings icon to access the Settings menu. Alternatively, tap on the Settings icon on the Home screen.
- Enable the Palm Swipe To Capture option
Once the Settings menu appears, scroll down the list of options. Find the Motion tab, and tap on it to select it. Make sure the Motion Activation option is enabled by checking the box next to it. Scroll down the options, and find the Palm Swipe To Capture option under the Hand Motions category. Enable it by checking the box next to it. Exit the Settings menu.
- Capture a screen shot
After enabling the Palm Swipe To Capture option, go to the screen that needs to be captured, and swipe your palm from left to right, or vice versa, on the screen to capture the screen shot. Once captured, go to Gallery, and select the correct album to find the captured screen shot.
