Both the Windows and Mac operating systems have built-in tools that allow you to take screenshots. Open the screen you want to capture, and use the built-in operating system tools to take the screenshot.

To enable the screenshot tool in Windows, enter the phrase "Snipping Tool" into the search box in Windows. Click on the result to launch the application. On a Mac, press the Command, Shift and 4 keys.
- Select the area you wish to capture
Once the screenshot tool launches, use your mouse to drag and select the part of the screen you wish to capture. If you are using Windows and want to capture the entire screen, press the Control key and the Print Screen button on your keyboard. To capture the entire screen on your Mac, press the Command, Shift and 3 keys on your keyboard.
