    Move to your computer, and access your personal email. Download the sound file to your computer.

  3. Add the sound clip to iTunes

    Open iTunes, and then drag the sound file into iTunes. This adds the audio clip to your iTunes library.

  4. Transfer the audio clip back to your iPhone

    Connect your iPhone to your computer, and wait for it to be recognized by iTunes. Click on your iPhone, and then click the Music tab. If your iPhone is set to sync automatically, this adds the audio clip to your iPhone's music library. If your iPhone is set to sync manually, click the Sync Music button. Then, click Apply.
