Click Start, and go to Control Panel. When Control Panel appears, click on Programs, and select Uninstall a Program from the available list of options. Find and uninstall the SweetPacks program as well as any other suspicious programs from the list.
Start the browser, and find its add-ons or extensions. For Internet Explorer, click on the Tools menu, and select Manage Add-ons. In Firefox, click Add-ons from the menu, which looks like three horizontal bars. In Chrome, click the Chrome menu, which also looks like three horizontal bars. Select Tools, and click on Extensions. Find and remove all add-ons or extensions associated with SweetPacks.
For Internet Explorer, go to Tools menu, and select Internet Options. Go to the Advanced tab, and select Reset. When prompted, select Delete Personal Settings, and click on Reset. For Firefox, go to the Help menu, and select Troubleshooting. Click on the Reset Firefox button on the right side of the screen. Select Reset Firefox to complete the process. Chrome does not have a reset button, so the process has to be done manually. After removing the extensions, click on the Chrome menu, and go to Settings. On the page, find and select Manage Search Engines. When the pop-up window appears, make your desired search engine the default search engine, and get rid of SweetPacks by clicking the X button.
