Reviews of Mitsubishi big-screen televisions usually report them as being average to better than average with plenty of options, as of 2015. On the downside, the televisions required a lot of color tuning straight out of the box and didn't have the depth of color desired, as noted by Good Housekeeping.
Mitsubishi offers a range of large screen televisions, including 3-D TVs and HDTVs. A Good Housekeeping review of the Mitsubishi Unisen LED television rated it at four out of five stars. It had easy-to-use controls and remote. This television also offered good detail and clarity. On the downside, black wasn't as dark as it could be for a good contrast.
Good Housekeeping also reviewed the Mitsubishi 60-inch 3-D Home Cinema television and gave it three out of five stars. They reported that the sound level was good, but quality was mediocre. It offered easy-to-use menus and the 3-D glasses were comfortable to use. However, the television required setting up a separate 3-D kit with emitter and receiver. The viewing angle was also very limited.
The Mitsubishi 3-D DLP Home Cinema television also received a three out of five stars rating, as noted by PC Magazine. They reported similar issues to other Mitsubishi televisions, such as poor black quality, and the 3-D glasses and Wi-Fi adapter had to be purchased separately for this model. On the plus side, the 73-inch screen offered a theater-like experience with good audio and 3-D picture.
