Hotmail makes it easy for you to recover emails that you have accidentally, or otherwise, deleted from your mailbox. Begin the procedure by opening your browser and logging in to your Hotmail account. Select Deleted from the left side of the windowpane, then scroll to the bottom of the screen and click on Recover Deleted Messages. Move the recovered messages to other folders to save them from being permanently deleted.
- Open Internet browser, and log in
Open your web browser, and log in to your Hotmail account.
- Select the Deleted folder
From the left side of the Hotmail window, select the Deleted folder from the list of all your folders. This automatically populates the main window with a list of currently deleted mails.
- Recover deleted messages
Scroll to the very end of the deleted messages screen. At the bottom of the window, click on the Recover Deleted Messages link. The system attempts to recover as many of the deleted messages as possible, however, it may not be able to recover all of them. Messages that are not recovered may have been permanently deleted.
- Restore messages
Move the recovered messages from the Deleted folder to other locations to organize them and prevent them from being permanently deleted.
