    To save an image in GIF format with GIMP, go to File in the main menu, and select Export As. Select GIF, and select your export preferences. Click Export to save the image. To save an image in GIF format with Photoshop, go to File in the main menu, and select Save for Web. Select GIF, and select your desired quality preferences. Click Save to save the image.
