To reset the voicemail password on a Verizon phone, either call the customer service line or change it through the mobile phone. AT&T customers have several options to change a voicemail password.
To change a voicemail password on a Verizon Wireless phone, dial *611, and then press the send button. Alternatively, call the automatic customer service number to access a similar system. When prompted, press 4, and listen to the instructions until hearing the option to change the voicemail. If necessary, enter security information, and then change the password.
Change an AT&T voicemail password via the company website, through the AT&T app or by calling the customer service number. To change the password online, sign into the AT&T website, and go to the profile section before selecting the password section. Select the number of the phone if there are several numbers on one account, and then select Yes to update the password. A temporary password comes via text. Once you have signed in, create a new password.
To change the AT&T voicemail through the app, open the app, choose the profile option, and then choose the option to change the voicemail password. Select the reset option, and wait for a text message with a temporary password, and then change the password to a permanent one when logging in.
