When prompted, press 4, and listen to the instructions until hearing the option to change the voicemail. If necessary, enter security information, and then change the password.

Change an AT&T voicemail password via the company website, through the AT&T app or by calling the customer service number. To change the password online, sign into the AT&T website, and go to the profile section before selecting the password section. Select the number of the phone if there are several numbers on one account, and then select Yes to update the password. A temporary password comes via text. Once you have signed in, create a new password.
