To get repairs from the Apple Store, visit Apple.com's Support tab, and click on the type of repair from the options shown. For most repairs, Apple offers two options: bringing the phone, iPad or other Apple product to an Apple Store or authorized service location or sending it in for repair.
Apple notes that not all instances of screen damage are repairable at an authorized service location or Apple Store. More complex damage may require sending the phone to an Apple Repair Center.
To send an item in for repair, begin a service request by calling Apple Support or by requesting service online. Apple sends a box for the customer to use to package the item, and then the customer ships it to the Apple Repair Center. Repairs usually take three to five business days, and screen replacement costs vary depending on whether the customer has an AppleCare plan.
To begin a support chat to arrange a repair, click the Support tab on the Apple.com homepage, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on Contact Support under the Contact Us heading. Click the Service Options tab to begin the process of setting up a repair, and click on the Apple product for specific instructions. Alternatively, click the Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Visit an Apple Retail Store to find locations for local repair.
