To remove the Snap.Do engine, end the related system processes via the Task Manager, and uninstall it via the Control Panel. Delete the remaining files in the Temp folder, and remove the Snap.Do pages and engine from your Web browser.
To end the Snap.Do processes, close all browsers, right-click on the Taskbar, and select the Start Task Manager option from the menu. Find the Lrcnta.exe entry in the Processes tab, right-click on it, and select the End Process option. Repeat the same process for SnapDo.exe. Click on the Services tab, right-click on LPTSystemUpdater, and select the Stop Service option.
To uninstall Snap.Do, click on Start, select the Control Panel option, and click on the Uninstall a Program link. Click on the Snap.Do Engine entry in the list of installed programs, and click on the Uninstall button. Once the uninstall process starts, click on the Custom button, check the box next to the Remove Snap.Do option, and click Next. After the uninstall process ends, navigate to the Temp folder location on your system, and delete all files therein.
Open Google Chrome, type “chrome://settings” in the address bar, and press Enter. Click on the Set Pages link in the On Startup section, and delete any pages related to Snap.Do. Click on the Manage Search Engines link in the Search section, and delete the Snap.Do search engine if it’s present on the list.
