How Do You Remove the Dogpile Search Bar?

To remove the Dogpile search bar from your computer, click the Start button on the Windows taskbar, select the Control Panel, and then go to Programs. Under Programs and Features, click Uninstall A Program in Windows 7 or Add Or Remove Programs in Windows XP. Right-click on Dogpile, click Uninstall on the shortcut menu, and then follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall the program.

To remove the Dogpile search bar from Firefox browser, click Tools on the top menu of the browser, go to Options, and click on the General tab. Locate under Startup, replace it by typing in your preferred browser, and then restart Firefox.

Alternatively, go to Tools on the Mozilla Firefox browser, select Add-Ons, highlight Dogpile toolbar on the pop-up window, click Uninstall and then restart the browser to implement the changes. Use the same procedure to remove Dogpile from Internet Explorer.

On Google Chrome, click the Options icon that appears as three horizontal lines at the top-right corner of the browser, and then click Settings on the new window to open the configuration page. On the configuration page, click the Set Pages link located under On Startup. Click the cross sign next to to delete the website address, type the new search engine that you would like to use, click OK, and then restart your browser.
