Removal of Cinavia from the computer is possible using the DVDFab software. In order to use the DVDFab software, the computer must be able to read Blu-Ray discs and must support Cinavia protected discs. It also needs to have the capability of creating Blu-Ray discs.
The computer Blu-Ray player needs to recognize the Cinavia encryption, to create a disc with Cinavia removed. Use either the DVDFab Blu-Ray Copy or Blu-Ray Ripper software. First, insert the disc into the drive and start the DVDFab software. A dialog box appears on the computer screen asking to create a new disc in the BDMV-REC format.
Select the format and accept to continue. Then click on the Blu-Ray drive as the target. Make sure to select the Create protected disc option; otherwise the disc automatically gets created without any protection encryption.
The DVDFab main working page opens up on the computer screen. Next, in order to save space, select the format of the disc before conversion to avoid having the menus copied. It is possible to speed up the beginning playback sequence of the DVD by removing the messages at the start of the movie. The speed of creation of the disc depends on the drive speed.
Once the file conversion is complete, a message displays on the screen indicating the successful completion of the process. It is now ready for burning onto a disc or transferring to the portable device.
