Full Answer

PC Plus members can use their accumulated points at participating stores to purchase most items, apart from alcohol, tobacco, lottery tickets and other periodically designated services and products. When purchasing in-store merchandise such as groceries, members must initially redeem at least 20,000 points, or $20, and then redeem points in increments of 10,000 as of 2015. Members cannot redeem portions of 10,000 point blocks, so they must pay by cash, debit card or credit card for the balance of a purchase that does not add up to an even multiple of $10 in value. Members cannot use PC Plus points for cash back. Although PC Plus points do not expire, if members do not use their accounts for two years, their memberships are terminated and their points are lost.

Although PC Plus members cannot transfer points to other people, they can combine accounts to grow their points balances more quickly. To find out what stores participate in the program, members can access the online store locator on PCPlus.ca. Apart from merchandise, PC Plus members can use their points to purchase gas at participating stations. They can also use PC Plus points to make donations to the President's Choice Children's Charity.
