Some publishers require users to be signed into an Amazon.com customer account in order to use some Search Inside the Book features. Users can search for keywords or phrases in Amazon.com's main search bar, which allows them to browse the website's entire selection of participating books and those books' pages for matching terms. Clicking one of these results directs users to the book's product page, where the customer can use the Look Inside option, if available.
Books that are registered with the Search Inside the Book program feature the Look Inside arrow near the book's cover photo on the product page. Clicking the cover photo opens the Look Inside tool, which includes information about the book, access to the table of contents and some full sample pages, the ability to Search Inside the entire text, and related book recommendations. The Look Inside widget is equipped with Kindle and Print viewing tabs, buttons to zoom in and out, and links to leave feedback or ask for help.
