In Windows Vista, Print Management is located under Administrative Tools in the Control Panel. To access all of the tools under Print Management, a user must log in as an administrator or an administrator's group member. Print Management comes pre-loaded with the Windows Vista operating system.
Print Management displays the printer's name on the network, the status of the print queue, the number of jobs in the queue and the name of the server for each connected printer. Print Management tools allow users to add and remove printers and print servers, view printer status, update printer drivers and manage print jobs. Users can also access Print Management through Remote Desktop to manage printer settings on another computer.
