To print onto an envelope, create a blank document in Microsoft Word 2010 or a newer version, select the Envelopes option, type the necessary addresses, and choose a feed method. Make sure to load the envelope the way the Feed preview window shows and use the Print option.
Start Microsoft Word 2010, click on File, click on New and double-click on the Blank Document icon. Open the Mailing tab, click on Envelopes and enter the addresses in the Delivery Address and Return Address boxes. Click on the Options button, open the Printing Options tab, click on the desired feed method and choose whether to print the envelope face up or face down. Load the envelope into the printer and click Print. When the prompt to save the return address appears, click Yes.
To modify the font size and layout of the content you’re printing onto an envelope, open the Envelope Options tab in the Options dialog box, select the size of your envelope and click on the Font buttons in the Delivery Address and Return Address sections to select the desired style, size and effects. Use the Preview section of the dialog box to observe the modifications to the layout in real time. To save the layout for future use, click on the Add to Document button, click on Save As in the File menu, type the name for the envelope and click Save.
