Some highly rated laptop stands include the Ikea Brada stand, the Griffin Elevator laptop stand and the Rain Design mStand 360. The Cooler Master NotePal U2 stand is also well-rated.
The Brada laptop stand made by Ikea is relatively cheap and comes in two different designs. The fold-out desk-style stand features spaces on the sides for cable management, while the other model is angled.
The Griffin Elevator laptop stand is space-efficient and allows for other devices and a keyboard to sit next to the laptop. It also allows for easy management of cables and has a brushed aluminum design. The Elevator stand keeps the laptop in place while it is elevated and an open design allows the laptop to stay cool.
Rain Design's mStand 360 is designed for use with MacBooks, although it works well with other laptops, as well. Made of a solid, angled piece of aluminum, the mStand 360 has an adjustable base that lets the laptop swivel. A basic mStand model doesn't have the adjustable base.
The Cooler Master NotePal U2 stand is specifically designed to keep a laptop cool. Coming in a variety of models, it has space for cooling fans, while a mesh material cuts down on heat. It can also be disassembled, and it doubles as a carrying case for the laptop.
