RAM is a file extension associated with the Real Media Player. Video and audio files are formatted in this way. In order to play a RAM file, it is necessary to have a compatible media player on your computer.
Continue ReadingSelect the file, and click the right mouse button. This causes a list of options to appear.
Find the Open With option in the list. Hovering over this option makes a list of programs that can open the file appear.
Select a program such as Real Media Player that can play the RAM file. If there are no compatible programs in the list, select the Choose Default Program option, and manually search for a program on the computer.
