Wind Mobile offers devices such as the Nexus 6, Moto X, Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z3 and Blackberry Classic as of March 2015. Wind Mobile also has older models of smartphones from Sony and Samsung, smartphones from Huawei and Alcatel, and basic phones from Huawei and LG.
The company plans to add the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge to its lineup. Wind Mobile also sells a tablet starter package and mobile hotspot devices.
For customers who wish to pay for phones over time, Wind Mobile provides the Windtab program. Customers pay part of the cost of the phone up front and put the rest on their Windtab accounts. The amount they can put on their Windtab accounts ranges from $150 when they sign up for a $35-per-month plan to $500 for the $60-per-month plan. Each month, 10 percent of the bill goes to the Windtab balance. After two years, the company pays any remaining balance. If a customer would like to upgrade his phone before the two years are up, he must pay the remaining balance. Customers can also save money on new phones by trading in their old phones.
The company does not sell iPhones, but it does offer SIM cards that are compatible with some iPhone models.
