How Does Panasonic Phone Call Block Work?

Panasonic phone call block works by allowing users to store up to 250 numbers to a call block list on a phone enabled with Caller ID, allowing the phone to block incoming calls from those numbers. Users can block phone numbers already stored on the phone and manually add numbers.

To block a number that is already stored in the phone, users must touch “T” to select CID and then use the up and down arrows to select the number they wish to block. Next, they click Save and then use the up and down arrows to select Call Block. Users must select Yes and are then given an option to edit the phone number, if necessary. Next, they select Save and then Off, and the number is successfully blocked.

To manually add a number to the block list, users must select Menu and then select the pound sign followed by the numbers 2, 1 and 7. Next, they press Add, add the appropriate number, and then press Saved followed by Off.

To block a number listed as Unavailable, users must select Menu and then select the pound sign followed by the numbers 2, 4 and 0. They use the arrow keys to select their desired setting, and then click Save followed by Off to block the number.

When numbers on the block list call the phone, they receive a busy tone and are then disconnected.
